Gold Coins for Investment

One good reason for investing in gold coins, is their TAX EXEMPT status.  For a gold coin to be considered an investment and tax exempt, it has to be listed on HM Revenue & Customs list of Investment Gold - referred to as Notice 701/21a.  The list is quite extensive, and not all gold coins appear on it, but it is fair to say that all the 'common' gold coins traded as investments are listed.  Fromthe perspective of it's exempt status, the coins physical appearance ie. bullion of Proof is not considered.  For a full list of the coins included, please use the link below.
