GOLD NUGGET
The Australia Gold NUGGET coin is produced by the PERTH MINT in Western Australia
All coins, in the Nuuget series - from the 1/20th oz up to the 1 kilo, are struck from 99.99% pure gold. The Australian Nuggets (or Kangaroo as they are sometimes referred to) are legal tender status through the Australian Currency Act 1965. The coins in recent years have now become as popular as a collectors coin, as much as an investment gold coin.

Mintages of the Australian Nugget coins are restricted to 350,000 - 1oz, 100,000 - 1/2oz, 150,000 - 1/4oz and 200,000 of each of the 1/10oz and 1/20oz coins.
